We serve as a Director and were the largest outside shareholder, prior to the recently completed expansion capital financing.
SunGard
SunGard, Wayne, PA, computer disaster recovery centers and financial software. This was a leveraged buyout of a division of the Sun Oil Company. It went public and finally was taken private. We and two other venture firms negotiated the buyout.
Kronos
Kronos, in Waltham, Massachusetts, offers employee time accounting systems. We invested in what was a small company and later took it public. In 2007 the company returned to private ownership. We served as a Director.
AthenaHealth
AthenaHealth, located in Watertown, MA, offers Internet software for doctors' offices. This service vastly speeds up collection time from insurance paid claims and reduces uncollected amounts. The company went public in 2007 and is now more than double its issue price!
